Fellowships DDA is a collective effort with over 20 years of experience coming together to offer the Treasure Valley the most comprehensive services for those with developmental disabilities. Starting in 2008, our supervision and administration are all certified Habilitative Interventionist for children and Developmental Specialist for adults with developmental disabilities.

Julie Adkins received her Bachelors degree in Psychology from Frostburg State University, and her Masters degree in Social Work for Northwest Nazarene University. Julie is currently a licensed social worker (LMSW) in the state of Idaho. She received her Developmental Specialist Certification in 2004, and her Habilitative Intervention certification in 2011. Julie has served people with developmental disabilities for the past ten years through several different agencies in the Treasure Valley. Julie is currently active in several local organizations that educates and advocate for people with developmental disabilities.

Steve Adkins received his Bachelors degree in Sociology with a minor in Dispute Resolution from Salisbury State University. Steve’s experience includes membership with AmeriCorps, a domestic Peace Corps, where he worked with adolescents and teens teaching conflict resolution skills. He was nominated to the AmeriCorps Leadership program where he assisted with running after school programs in Harlem and South Bronx. Steve has also worked with the Idaho Youth Ranch as a Youth Specialist since 2005. Steve received his Habilitative Intervention certification in 2011, and currently acts as the agencies lead Interventionist providing direct care to several participants.

As the owners of Fellowships DDA, Steve and Julie have made a commitment to ensure that quality services come first, it is our mission that our participants will always receive the direct and individualized attention they deserve without the stress and high turnover of employees that you may find at larger agencies.
